Quixotic

On Easter Sunday, April the 5th, Live At the Armory is proud to bring to Ashland the avant garde trendsetters Quixotic, branded by Mens Journal as “one of the best contemporary [cirque] acts” in the genre.

Kansas City based performance troupe, the mesmerizing Quixotic, were given Silicon Valley’s unofficial stamp of genius when they were invited to perform at TED Talks in Long Beach in 2012. A unique blend of projection mapping, artistic dance, aerialists, and specialty acts, Quixotic fuses all these elements in to a cohesive art form that has taken them around the globe performing for audiences worldwide.

Art that enchants, invigorates, and awakens the imagination has always been born of the rule breakers, and no one is breaking the rules more joyously, more fervently than Quixotic. As a result of a recent collaboration with Cirque du Soleil for the charitable One Drop event, which addresses critical water supply issues globally, the Director was moved to comment

"Quixotic is a creative force that master evoking emotion out of their audiences, using multimedia and movement. With a unique sound and original visuals, they are on their way to becoming the most sought after company for Multi-media entertainment."
